Customers can place an order through the website or following a link from Instagram or Facebook. Please add a product to your basket and proceed with checkout where you will be asked to enter your details including delivery and billing addresses.
Can I cancel my order?
All sales done via our website are final and no cancelations can be done.
Is it necessary to create an account while shopping with us?
No, we provide a “guest checkout” service where you can proceed to place an order without creating an account or registering with us. If you wish to save delivery information, then you will need to sign up with us.
What are shipment costs and expected delivery time?
Order above £40 and you will have no shipping cost. A shipping cost of £5 applies to all orders below £40. The expected delivery time is up to 2 working days. Please note due to the Covid19 situation in rare instances our delivery partner experiences higher delivery load and this could cause delays to your order.
Please note that if the recipient is not in and it is not possible to leave the package in a secure area due to the current Covid19 restrictions, then you may have to reschedule the delivery as per the delivery service terms and conditions. We accept no liability if the delivery is not made due to the recipient being not available.
How long does your delivery take?
We ship our orders with DHL Special Delivery and up to 2 business days expected delivery time.
However, due to increased shipments demand in the logistics sector our delivery partner cannot guarantee the delivery lead time and sometimes there could be unforeseen delays. For majority of our orders (>97%) we deliver either next day or within two business days. Contact us in case you think you have not been provided a satisfactory delivery.
Do you offer next day delivery?
No – currently due to Covid19, we are not offering next day delivery service. However, we endeavour to fulfil our orders as soon as possible within the 2 day delivery slot.
How do I amend or cancel my order?
We are happy to amend your order or change delivery address if your order has not been processed. However, we aim to dispatch all orders as quick as possible, therefore this option only exists in some instances. To avoid disappointment, please ensure that the delivery address is correct.
How to track the order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking and shipping information. Simply click on the link in the email or select the ‘track order’ option here and enter your order number and email address or sign in to your account. If you are not taken to the website please use track.dhlparcel.co.uk and enter your shipping number.
What if I have received different order from what I have a place?
We ensure that orders are dispatched with high accuracy but if you receive an incorrect order then please take a photo of the received order as proof and email it to us at email@example.com
Why are a number of chocolates restricted in a few boxes?
Due to size, shape and packaging restrictions, we have to limit the number of chocolates for certain selection boxes.
Can I ask to add messages to the order?
Yes, you can add a message to the order. You can send us your message via our contact us form located at the bottom of our page. And we will add your message to your order.
Do you make discounts and promotions? Are there promo codes?
The discounted or promo chocolates are visible on the page of Leonidasbelgianchocolate.co.uk. And selecting any of the discounted items you may avail as much as 50% discounts. We aim to have some discounted products at all times including our Promo Ballotin which has a limited selection of our chocolates and a shorter expiry date which is usually about 7-10 days.
Are there any discounts available for corporate orders?

What if the order arrives damaged?
All your orders are thoroughly packed and transit tested to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, take photographs to make us aware of the kind of damage and email to email@example.com. We guarantee we’ll replace or refund if your order is damaged more than 40%. A fraudulent claim of return and refund will not be processed. Please note adequate proof is a necessary condition to get a replacement or refund.
Can I place an order through the phone?
Please use the website for orders as it is much quicker and easier to do so. In rare occasions you would be able to place an order through the phone if there are any issues with your online order. Please note, telephone responses are subject to staff availability. To guarantee yourself the best and fastest service, use our website.
How much time does it take to receive a response to an inquiry or a complaint?
According to our standard operating procedure, it takes 3 to 5 business days to get a response. In busier than usual times this period may be longer. Please note that sending more inquiries and complaints on the same matter will not escalate or expedite your ticket.

Is there a general guide for ingredients of Leonidas Chocolate?
All the chocolates used in the production of our pralines are free from colourants and preservatives. All our products may contain traces of nuts and/or nougat.
Do we have Kosher certified chocolates?
We have a range of chocolates under the approved Kosher certificate. For further information please view the attached (Kosher certificate and chocolate list under the same).
We eat sugar-free chocolates, can we order Leonidas?
Leonidas chocolates – Pralines are not “sugar-free” but rather “without added sugar”. It does not mean that there is no sugar in the praline. The Leonidas chocolate (Praline) still contains natural sugar present in milk as Lactose. For more information please see attached (Without added sugar ingredient file).
Are Leonidas chocolates Halal?
Leonidas offers a list of chocolates which are Halal and we have Halal certification for those products. A list of Halal chocolates is attached for your reference. (List attached)
Are there any allergic reactions associated with any ingredients in Leonidas chocolate?
Leonidas chocolates may contain ingredients which provoke an allergic reaction, for instance, milk, soya, gluten or nuts. You can go through the ingredients list attached with each chocolate or if you have any food allergy which is not answered in lists, feel free to email us and we will happily tell you which chocolates are safe for you.
Is the chocolate good in quality if it is blooming?
Generally, Leonidas chocolates have two types of booms, sugar bloom and fatty bloom.
Fatty bloom is caused by fats being re-crystalized or migrating to the surface of the chocolate. This is usually caused in chocolates with thin layer. This happens due to chocolates being stored at unsuitable temperature.
Sugar bloom is caused by the re-crystallization of the sugar in the chocolate. This happens due to condensations forms on the chocolate due to difference in temperature of high humidity.
Storing the Chocolates
For how long Leonidas chocolates are good to store and consumed?
Leonidas chocolates are fresh chocolates which means the typical shelf life of the chocolates you will receive would be approximately 4-5 weeks. Please note we always put the best before date which corresponds to the shortest dated variety of chocolate in your box which is typically a fresh cream chocolate but it is usual that most of the varieties in there have an actual longer expiry date.
To enjoy the optimum flavour of Leonidas chocolates, you should consume them fresh or as guided by the BB dates on the chocolate box.
What is the best way to store Leonidas chocolates?
Leonidas chocolates particularly buttercreams or chocolates containing alcohol are recommended to be stored in a cool place and eating them cool. While pure chocolates such as pralines, ganache, liqueur cream or truffles are best to be stored at temperatures between 15 to 18 C.
